Becca trained in Musical Theatre at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, where she gained her ISTD Ballet Associate qualification. Following graduation she worked as a dancer and a “face” at Disneyland Paris and has appeared in pantomimes, numerous west end variety shows and commercials. She has choreographed for the highly popular Channel 4 TV show ‘The Friday Night Project’. With over ten years teaching experience in Street Jazz, Tap and Musical Theatre, Becca has worked with children from the age of two through to teaching adults, both at beginner and professional level.
For the past six years, Becca has worked at Aviv Dance Studios as a teacher and Studio Coordinator, running classes in both the Watford and Harpenden Schools, producing annual shows and promoting and choreographing the Aviv Dance Performing Company. She taught Jazz at the Royal Academy of Dance and now has the privilege of teaching jazz and musical theatre at their workshops and summer schools across the UK. Becca has also taught classes internationally for the RAD in Italy, Jakarta and Luxembourg. She works with RAD on their ‘Step Into Dance’ programme, which takes dance into schools in London. As well as this, she teaches classes for 2-4 year olds at a Montessori School and dance at Stagecoach (the national drama/dance company) in Richmond.
This extensive background has given Becca the insight and experience necessary to manage a successful dance school as well as a unique ability to fully understand the needs of parents and students.
